I have a confession. I love carnations.
I've been a fan for a while now but it wasn't until I was sitting with the fabulous Courtenay Lambert that I realized how much of a fan I am! Used correctly carnations can be a cost effective alternative to the more expensive flowers. They're perfect as a filler in the tall arrangements that are so popular right now and make stunning bouquets. They remind me of a mix between hydrangeas and peonies and who doesn't like those?!
